VERITAS University Resumption Date 2022/23 Is Finally Announced

Yeah, I know you may be wondering which University this is. In case you are wondering, This University is a private University in Nigeria.
Recently, The management of Veritas University which is located in Abuja has announced the Resumption Date.
Anybody who needs information on this should ensure they read this article to the end in order to get all the vital information they will need. According to reports, we heard that this Resumption Date Is meant for the continuation of academic activities.
VERITAS University Resumption Date 2022
The committee of deans and directors at its meetings on and the outcome of the meeting is as follows:
1) That all students of all categories are to resume on campus on 18th of October 2022.
2) All students are to pay their school fees before Resumption.
3) The mid term Semester Examination which was speculated to start on June 6th has been postponed to a later date. This was determined by the University Senate.
Note: All 300 level students and other students who are currently doing their Industrial training are exempted from resuming with their counterparts. They should continue their online lectures from home.
Extracts from the Vice-Chancellors Letter
Since the committee of deans and directors met on June 3, 2022 to decide on when students will be resuming. They were able to come to a conclusion that all students must resume on October 18 (All 300 level students are exempted). This will happen after the mid semester break and this notice was given by the registrar office.
However, It has come to the notice of the University that parents and sponsors have been complaining of the high rate of insecurity in Nigeria and they are concerned about the safety of their wards.
Yes, we know it is our duty as the senate of the University to decide the academic calendar of the University but however the University will put the feelings of parents and sponsors in consideration.
Furthermore, Due to this fact. The University management has concluded that the remaining part of second semester will be a Blended Session. That is both online and physical. Also, The University will allow parents and sponsors to decide if they want to continue physically or online.
All students must note that the final examination will be done physically on campus. Also all science students who needs to do one practicals or the other. The University management will decide on how they will be meeting on campus for this practicals.
