FRSC is a paramilitary organization and an agency in our road traffic administration. They are quite superior to lastma because they are from the federal government while lastma are from the state government.
If you check very well, Lastma cannot be found in other state but only Lagos state.
The FRSC have been known for only employing young, vibrant, intelligent and technologically driven individuals in its march towards becoming a world class organization.
The FRSC officials are really doing their jobs excellently and professionally. They don’t collect bribes and they impound vehicles that does not have the complete documents for their vehicles.

Requirements For FRSC Recruitment 2022
Academic Qualification for Officer:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in Medicine
- NYSC Discharge Certificate
- Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age.
Academic Qualification for Officer Cadre:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in any of the following disciplines; Law, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Laboratory Science, Psychology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance/Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, Physical and Health Education, Accounting, Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Mass Communication, Social Sciences and Humanities.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate, and must not be more than 30 years of age.
Academic Qualification for Marshal Inspector:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized Institutions, NYSC Discharge Certificate.
- Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM), Nurses in the following areas can also apply; Anesthetics Nurse, Theatre Nurse, Orthopedic Nurse, Dental Nurse, Psychiatric Nurse, Accident and Emergency Nurse.
- Statement of Result not beyond 5 years
- Applicants should not be more than 30 years old.
Academic Qualification for Artisans and Tradesmen:
- A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.
- Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
- Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s Licence.
- Candidates must not be more than 27 years of age.
- Academic Qualification for Road Marshal Assistant:
- Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, one of the credits must be in English Language.
- Candidates must not be more than 27 years of age.
Other Requirements
- Candidates must have a good computer knowledge skills and a valid drivers licence for all cadre.
- Any certificate or documents not accepted during recruitment will not be accepted later by the agency.
- Candidates must be a bonafide citizen of Nigeria
- He or she must be medically fit and sound. He must possess a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
- Applicants must be within 18 years to 30. However, being a 35 year old personnel can be accepted if such applicants will be a doctor or a driver.
- He or she must be single.
- Applicants height must not be less than 1.7 metres for male and 1.64 metres for female.
- Medical and Allied professionals must possess current practicing licences while Lawyers must have been called to Bar.
- Male applicants must have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87metres.
- He or she must not be disabled of any kind.
- He or she must not be in financial crisis or debt
- He or she must not be convicted in court.

As at now, the application form for 2022/2023 Session is not out yet. You will be informed when it is out. Hence, no deadline has been announced as well.
