This fishing occupation therefore serves as an alternative occupation that people can do to make their daily living. Also, the occupation is meant for graduates who are not able to get government or private Jobs.
This is the major reason why the rivers State government decided to create a Job for qualified youths and the preparation is to give youths in rivers state the opportunity to teach the next coming generation and get paid for it.

Requirements Needed For Rivers State Teachers Recruitment
1) Applicants must be a bonafide citizen of Nigeria: All interested applicants must ensure they are a bonafide citizen of Nigeria. This is the first requirements needed for any applicants that is interested in this scheme.
2) He or she must have a minimum of 5 credit pass at one sittings which must include English, maths and 3 other subjects relevant
3) All applicants must have the Nysc discharge certificate to show that they have gone through the mandatory service year.
4) You must live around rivers State
5) You must be a computer literate.
