JAMB portal 2020 can be accessed easily now by using your email address and password. Everything about portal.jamb.gov.ng is in this article.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) introduced the online portal, to enable candidates perform a number of activities via the internet, without necessarily going to the
JAMB office for those. Without the portal, a lot of transactions would have been stressful, costing a lot of time and money.
However, there are exceptions to what can be done on the online portal, which will be made known to you in the course of this article. Just stay with me!
To access and use the services available on the portal.jamb.gov.ng, you must be at least a one time candidate of JAMB.
Although, your examination year will determine your activities on the website.
Note that your JAMB score does NOT determine/affect your activities on the portal.
As long as you have once registered for JAMB UTME/DE, you are automatically eligible you to make use of the portal services.

Uses of JAMB Portal in 2020
Now let’s get to know the variety of services we can use on the JAMB website.
This service is made exclusively available to JAMB accredited CBT centres.
This means that, aspiring candidates cannot make use of this service on their own.
To register for UTME/DE, go to a JAMB accredited CBT centre, for your registration. You can’t do the registration online!
UTME 2020 Examination Slip Printing
Weeks after your registration, you will be required to print your examination slip.
Your examination slip will be asked for by your exam centre to enable you write your exam. Without it, you won’t be allowed into the examination hall.
I forgot something! Without your exam slip, you won’t even know your exam date, centre and time.
So, it is a must you print it. You will get notified by JAMB, when it is time to print out your examination slip. In one word, it is your exam pass.
UTME Mock Examination Slip Printing
If you applied/ will apply for the mock examination, during the time you were registering for the main examination, then you should look out for this.
The mock exam is only for a day, and therefore only few candidates have the opportunity to partake in it.
Checking of Mock and Main Examination Results
The mock examination results comes out a day after the examination.
Therefore, if you write the mock examination on Monday, your results should be released on Tuesday.
The official JAMB website allows you to do all these from the comfort of your home.
That is, it allows you to know your examination score. It has no use to print it out.
Checking of Admission Status
If you have written and passed the post UTME/admission screening of your choice of institution, then this section is for you.
After clicking on the tab labelled “check admission status“, it redirects you to the e-facility.
The E-facility is a subsection of the JAMB portal, which allows for a number of services too. These services will be made known to you here. Keep reading.
It makes the E-Facility Portal accessible
Like I said earlier, a large umber of activities can be performed on your e-facility account.
For example, you can check your registration profile, to confirm the details written therein. In the case, where you find a missing or wrong information, you are to immediately apply for correction of data.
Correction of data includes; change of name, change of course/institution, change of date of birth, change of gender, change of state/LGA of origin.
This form will be made available after the cut off marks are being released.
Another service available on the e-facility portal is the printing of result slip. This allows candidates to request for printing of result slip.
The price is one thousand naira (N1,000). That is, to print your result slip, you have to pay a sum of one thousand naira only.
The Result slip, unlike the results notification, contains your choice of institution/course, passport photograph, and gender.
This is the document used for school verification after admission.
So before proceeding to make payment for your admission letter, you must have checked your admission status, and accepted your admission offer., if positive.
