JAMB Regularization is the former name for Late Application. It provides opportunity for candidates that are in any institution, but with no JAMB Registration number.

Like I said earlier, Late Application was formally called JAMB Regularization. So don’t get confused when I start using the two terms interchangeably.

To apply for a JAMB Registration number, there are a number of steps you need to follow. All the steps will follow the Chain below:
CREATE CANDIDATE PROFILE > SELECT DESIRED SERVICE AND MAKE PAYMENT > DOWNLOAD AND PRINT FORMS > SIGNATURE BY RELEVANT AUTHORITIES AND UPLOAD.
How to do JAMB regularization 2021
Now let us go into the procedure:
STEP 1: You shall be required to create a profile via the Sign Up (New User) Page if you are a new user. For existing users, simply type in your login details.
To create your profile, you will provide your valid email address, surname, first name, Mobile No, State and LGA of Origin and password, then click on the Sign Up button.
Each candidate is entitled to only one profile. Create your profile via https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility../ValidateeMail (Yahoo emails are not encouraged due to late delivery).
STEP 2: Subsequently, you shall use your email address and password to sign in via www.jamb.org.ng/efacility../
STEP 3: Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.
STEP 4: Select “Late (Retroactive) Application”. This is available on the side bar
STEP 5. Once selected, the menu item “Late Application” will be revealed. Click this.
STEP 6: Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
STEP 7: Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in a bold red font.
The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.
STEP 8: Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
STEP 9: On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.
STEP 10: The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the Continue button.
STEP 11: Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
a. Year of Exam and
b. JAMB Registration Number
STEP 12: After entering the information correctly, the application form will be displayed. You are to fill the application form online. Please take note of mandatory fields.
STEP 13: Click Submit to complete your application.
STEP 14: After submission, an Indemnity Form will be displayed for printing.
STEP 15: This is to be filled and taken to your institution for Approval.
STEP 16: Your institution will be responsible for submission of the approved form to the JAMB state office.
STEP 17: Once received, the Approved form will be uploaded to your profile. You will receive a notification when this is done.
STEP 18: JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.

How much does it cost to do jamb regularization?
There is no exact price but when you check your jamb portal you will see the speculated cost for doing it. If you also go to a cyber café to process it, they will charge you more.
Is JAMB regularization compulsory?
As I have said before, it is not for everyone. Only those who need to do it should. If you don’t need to regularize your JAMB Admission, then don’t waste your money.
What is the Closing Date/ Deadline For Regularization?
There is no specific deadline announced by JAMB for those of you that want to do JAMB Regularization for NYSC or direct entry. However, you need to do it as soon as possible.
What Next After JAMB Regularization?
After your 2021 JAMB regularization application has been approved, the next step is to check and confirm your name on the JAMB Matriculation list.
It is important that you confirm your name from the matriculation list. Only candidates whose names are on this list are recognised as bonafide students from the various accredited institutions.
By implication, if your name is not on this list, your application to NYSC scheme for the one year National service shall be declined.
To qualify to be on the Matriculation List:
- Print your Admission Letter Online from the e-Facility Platform
- Print your Result Slip Online from the e-Facility Platform
- Verify the two documents with the admission officer in your Institution.
How to check if your name is on the Matriculation List
Follow this procedure to check if your name is on the JAMB Admission List.
STEP 1: Access the checker via jamb.org.ng/efacility/checkmatriculationlist
STEP 2: Select your examination year.
STEP 3: Enter your Registration number.
STEP 4: Click on “fetch my details”.
